Eligibility: Rules and Requirements
By applying for Skillionaire Games Scholarship: RadLabSC, you agree to these terms:
1. You must be a South Carolina Resident and enrolled as a junior or senior in high school.
2. You must download the free-to-play Rad Lab gaming app from the Google Play or Apple Store and earn the Life Sciences Skillionaire Badge in the game.
3. Once you have earned the in-game Life Sciences Skillionaire Badge, you must fill out this form by August 1st, 2023, that includes the following: First and last name; Physical address; Email address; Phone number; High School; Grade level; Rad Lab Username; Confirmation of your Life Science Skillionaire Badge achievement; Post-secondary schools interested in attending; 2-3 sentences detailing what you learned about life sciences.
4. The (1) scholarship winner will be notified by email or phone on or before August 15, 2023. Winners must respond by September 1, 2023, to claim their prize, or an alternate winner may be selected.
5. Scholarship recipients will be required to submit a current photo and submit a publicity release granting Skillionaire Games permission to use their photo in other marketing communications.
6. To be awarded a scholarship, a recipient must enroll at an accredited post-secondary South Carolina institution (tech college, vocational, community college, university). Scholarship proceeds will be remitted to that school during the summer before the student attends. The summer before the recipient attends the college or university, they will need to complete a Payment Form that says which school they will be attending, and specifically where at the school to send the award payment. If this form is not completed, the award will not be disbursed, and the recipient may forfeit the award.
7. This Scholarship Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Scholarship Sweepstakes. Winning a scholarship is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
8. Scholarships are non-transferable and Winners may not redeem for cash value, redemptions, or other consideration. There will be no exchanges, substitutions, or refunds. Winners are responsible for all taxes and fees associated with the award.
9. Skillionaire Games reserves the right to change the scholarship programs at any time, including available scholarships, deadlines, requirements, award amounts or other program details.

General Terms and Conditions. YOU HEREBY AGREE TO RELEASE SPONSOR AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AGENTS, AND ASSIGNS (COLLECTIVELY THE “RELEASEES”) FROM ALL DAMAGES (WHETHER DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR OTHERWISE), LOSSES, INJURIES, LIABILITIES, COSTS AND EXPENSES OF EVERY KIND AND NATURE, KNOWN AND UNKNOWN, ARISING OUT OF YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES OR YOUR RECEIPT OR USE OF THE PRIZES. IN FURTHERANCE OF THE FOREGOING, YOU HEREBY WAIVE ANY APPLICABLE LAW OR STATUTE, WHICH SAYS, IN SUBSTANCE: “A GENERAL RELEASE DOES NOT EXTEND TO CLAIMS THAT THE CREDITOR OR RELEASING PARTY DOES NOT KNOW OR SUSPECT TO EXIST IN HIS OR HER FAVOR AT THE TIME OF EXECUTING THE RELEASE AND THAT, IF KNOWN BY HIM OR HER, WOULD HAVE MATERIALLY AFFECTED HIS OR HER SETTLEMENT WITH THE DEBTOR OR RELEASED PARTY.” To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Releasees from and against any and all claims, injuries, losses, costs, debt, liabilities and expenses (including, but not limited to attorney’s fees) arising from (i) your participation in the Sweepstakes or your receipt and use of any Prizes; (ii) your violation of these Terms; (iii) your use of or inability to enter the Sweepstakes; and (iv) any claim that you caused damage to a third-party. Sponsor reserves the right to modify or cancel this Sweepstakes in the event the Sweepstakes cannot be carried out and/or Scholarship(s) cannot be awarded due to circumstances beyond Sponsor’s control including, without limitation, terrorism, natural disasters, acts of war, or in the event the Internet is inoperable or otherwise inaccessible during the Entrant Period. The Releasees hereby disclaim any responsibility for any technical malfunction related to the Internet, and/or your internet connection. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your email account and password and your entry into the Sweepstakes. Such security includes but is not limited to restricting access to your computer, laptop, tablet, or mobile device that you use to access your email and/or where such password may be stored. You agree that you are solely responsible for all activities and actions that occur under the auspices of your email address and/or Game account. You acknowledge and agree that the Releasees are not responsible for third-party access to your email and/or Game account and/or for a Sweepstakes entry that results from theft or misappropriation of your password or other email account credentials. You hereby acknowledge and agree that any action taken under your email address and/or Game account will be presumed to have been authorized by you. Sponsor will process all personal information obtained from this Sweepstakes in accordance with applicable privacy laws and Sponsor’s privacy policy, which can be found in our privacy policy. You hereby represent and warrant that i) you are not prohibited from receiving or using any aspect of your email account and/or from entering this Sweepstakes under applicable laws. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE RELEASEES WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE TO ANY PARTICIPANT FOR ANY SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR LOSS OF DATA, REGARDLESS OF FORESEEABILITY.
Eligibility. PARTICIPANTS ARE NOT REQUIRED TO MAKE ANY PAYMENT OR PURCHASE TO ENTER THE SCHOLARSHIP SWEEPSTAKES. You may enter the Sweepstakes by creating an account with the Rad Lab game (the “Game”) Participants may submit mail-in registration entry to Attn: Rad Lab SC Prizes, PO Box 25777, Greenville, SC 29616, no later than 4:00 PM EDT on August 1, 2023). However, Participants must earn the Life Sciences Skillionaire Badge achievement in the Game, as described in requirements, to be eligible to win the scholarship.
Odds of Winning. The odds of winning will be based on the number of Participants.
Dispute Resolution. The parties hereby consent to the jurisdiction of the State of South Carolina and agree that its laws will be used to resolve any dispute hereunder. Any action under these Terms will take place on an individual basis; class actions and class/representative/collective actions are not permitted. THE PARTIES AGREE THAT A PARTY MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN EACH PARTY’S INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PUTATIVE CLASS, COLLECTIVE AND/ OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING, SUCH AS IN THE FORM OF A PRIVATE ATTORNEY GENERAL ACTION AGAINST THE OTHER. Further, unless both you and Sponsor agree otherwise, you may not consolidate more than one person’s claims and may not otherwise preside over any form of a representative or class proceeding.
